“It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.” –E.E. Cummings

What it comes down to:

We all have an innate drive towards unlocking our highest potential. Yet why do we sometimes get in our own way? I believe that humans not only fear rejection, but also on some level success.  Perhaps there is a deep rooted feeling of being undeserving of the success. And so sometimes we will sabotage our own personal efforts at growth. This sabotage can take various forms. Sometimes it can manifest itself as an addiction. I believe we have two forces battling within: the inner voice of reason, and the self-defeating chatter that often suppresses our innate drive towards self-actualization. “Who am I? What defines me? Does it matter what everyone thinks of me? Does everyone have to love me?” When our sense of self is defined by how others view us, we set ourselves up for failure. We stop listening to our inner guide.

As Jane Austen once wrote, “we all have a better guide in ourselves, if we would attend to it, than any other person can be.”

My role is to help you get in touch with your inner guide. To help you listen to the messages it sends. Only when we start to be aware of this powerful inner guide and learn to attend to it, can we become the person we were always meant to be: our authentic self.
